C’est avec joie que les habitants du quartier Panzi, commune d’Ibanda dans la ville de Bukavu acceuillent la réhabilitation du tronçon routier Maison Blanche – Solidarité en passant par l’hôpital de Panzi.
Ces travaux sont financés par le Gouvernement Provincial du Sud-Kivu et exécutés par une entreprise internationale Méandres oeuvrant dans les Pays des Grands Lacs.
Actuellement l’entreprise est au-delà de plus de deux kilomètres, les habitants de l’avenue Mulamba premier située derrière la Maison Régionale des Pères Xaveriens connue sous l’appellation de la Solidarité remercie le Gouverneur de Province Théo Ngwabidje Kasi.
Ces derniers souhaitent voir l’asphaltage de cette route, ils sont surprit de voir des machines pour la première fois depuis que le Sud-Kivu soit une Province autonome.
Sous la conduite du Directeur Général de l’entreprise Méandres, l’ingénieur Jean Marie Vianney, ce dernier précise que cette société poursuit actuellement avec les travaux d’assainissement qui consistent au reprofilage et à la canalisation.
Désormais, les habitants de cette partie de la ville de Bukavu oubliés depuis longtemps sont aujourd’hui connectés des autres quartiers et Communes de Bukavu au transport en commun.
La jonction de cette route avec la RN5 sur le tronçon routier UEA – Nyantende soulage déjà les usagers, les malades qui vont à l’hôpital de Panzi ainsi que les visiteurs de la Fondation Panzi et des Pères missionnaires Xaveriens.
