La Ministre des Mines, Antoinette N’Samba Kalambayi est déterminée pour assainir son secteur dans la fraude minière.
Ce lundi 19 juillet 2021, la patronne des mines a eu une entrevue avec le gouverneur de la province du Sud-kivu, Théo Ngwabidje Kasi.
L’enjeux majeur est de trouver des voies et moyens pour mettre en déroute, la fraude minière à grande échelle notamment, dans ce coins du pays au frontière poureuse.
Connue pour détenir les gisements importants dans les mines, la province du Sud – Kivu est victime de la fraude dans le secteur minier. Les propriétaires des concessions minières et des comptoirs ne payent pas les impôts, ni des taxes , ils travaillent aussi en violation de la loi. Cette situation ne permet pas à l’État a réalisé des recettes.
Le gouverneur, Théo Ngwabidje Kasi a demandé à Son Excellence de ne plus renouveler les contrats de ces entreprises qui exploitent dans cette partie du pays afin de permettre aux nouveaux investisseurs qui acceptent de s’acquitter de leur devoir dans la transparence afin que l’État congolais ainsi que les communautés locales se retrouvent.
A cet effet, le gouverneur du Sud – Kivu a dit avoir déjà entamé l’assainissement du secteur minier dans sa province. Il s’est dit satisfait de bénéficier de l’appui de la ministre des mines.
