Dans son intervention, le Chef de l’État a convié ses hôtes à respecter leurs engagements vis-à-vis du pays et du peuple jusqu’au sacrifice suprême : « ne jamais trahir le Congo. Nous formons un corps de défenseurs des institutions du pays et de notre peuple ».
Le Président Tshisekedi a réitéré l’engagement du gouvernement en faveur du bien-être des militaires et de leur famille. « Restez toujours fidèles à votre mission. Le gouvernement mettra tous les moyens pour vous honorer pendant et après votre carrière », a-t-il dit.
Le Chef de l’État a rappelé la place de choix qu’occupent les Forces de défense et de sécurité dans la marche du pays : « vous n’êtes pas n’importe qui, vous êtes les porteurs de cette nation, vous donnez votre vie pour sauver ce pays ».
