C’est ce Jeudi 13 Octobre 2022 que le mécène Georges Kiamwangana Mateta dit Verckys a rendu l’âme au Centre Médical de Kinshasa. Affectueusement appelé Patrons des Éditions Vévé, ce mécène talentueux saxophoniste de première force fut ancien PCA de la Socoda.
Dans son actif, l’homme a propulsé de grandes HP Danos Canta Niboma, Evoloko Jocker, King Kester Emeneya et tant d’autres ont bénéficié de l’encadrement de cet homme.
Il a été à la base de la création de plusieurs groupes musicaux au nombre desquels Langa Langa Stars; Victoria Eleison étant d’autres.
